2007 marks the first full year of the new 197 based [Clio Cup](http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/championships/cliocup/ "Clio Cup Championship at renaultsport.co.uk") race car, replacing the older 172/182 model. These 205bhp hatches ensure close racing and fierce competition by removing any mechanical superiority advantage.
Supplied by Renault as a blank white canvas, each team exhibits its brushwork on the car body, competing not only for grid positions but also the most attention for their sponsors.
